Efforts to tease out a biological basis for the diagnosis for depression have proven elusive. What we do know is that anyone who is frequently “stressed out,” has trouble sleeping, suffers from aches and pains, and appetite changes is going to get very discouraged and find motivation lagging. Fortunately, “depression symptoms” have been treated successfully for millions of individuals without relying exclusively on medications. Dr. Openlander uses scientifically sound approaches to anxiety, depression, and chronic stress in a way that emphasizes efficient and often quick results.
